RACING EXPERIENCES
In 1982 he debuts in his first race, the hillclimb, Giarre - Milo, Italian Mountain Championship, driving a Fiat X1/9 Gr. 3. At the end of the year at the circuit of Magione, he takes part in one race of the National Formula Italia Trophy. In 1985 he takes part in a race of the Italian Mountain Championship driving a Fiat Panda Gr. 2, the hillclimb Giarre - Milo. In 1986 he enrolls in the Trofeo Fiat Uno Turbo, organized in Sicily and Calabria (Italy), participating in several hillclimbs such as Mt. Kronio, Giarre Milo, the Nissen Cup and the Val d'Anapo - Sortino. In the same year he competes on Pergusa circuit, Enna in a race of the Sicilian Trophy EPT, category Gr. N. In 1987 still Trofeo Fiat Uno Turbo and participation in two hillclimb Coppa Belmonte and Giarre Milo. In 1991, with a Fiat Uno Turbo Gr. N/6, he races in Pergusa circuit (Enna, Italy) in the race of the CIVT, Italian Tourism Championship. He repeats the experience in 1992, 1993 and 1994 and he get, as the best result, a third place in his class. In 1995, as Official driver of Rover Italy, he races in Pergusa, Mini Cooper Trophy, and the following year, still driving the Mini Cooper, also in Vallelunga circuit (Italy). In the 1995 he takes part in races of the Sicilian Tourism Championship driving the Fiat Uno Turbo Group N. In 1997 takes part in the hillclimb Catania- Etna, uphill race valid for the Italian Championship.
Short stop for personal facts and in the 2000 he drives the MG/F in the 6 Hours of Vallelunga, winning the class. In the same year performs a test in Lombardore (Italy) driving the Mazda MX5 intended for the namesake trophy. In the 2001 still 6 Hours of Vallelunga at the wheel of a Fun Cup where he finishes in third position. In the season 2003 he takes part in the 1st edition of 24 Hours of Sicily at the wheel of an Opel Astra Group N, while in 2004, always at the 24 Hours of Sicily, driving a Fiat Stilo 16V, he finishes sixth overall and first in his class. In 2008, at the circuit Varano de' Melegari, Italy, performs a test at the wheel of the Sport Car Radical SR3. In 2011he takes part in a test at the wheel of a GT Saker at the Silverstone circuit. In 2019 he returns on track driving in the first race of the Challenge Ford MPM in Pergusa, Italy.
